Mr. Danilov expressed his gratitude to the European Union for its comprehensive assistance and support to Ukraine. "I'm grateful to the entire European community for the help, it is extremely important for us. Without the support of our partners, it would be difficult for us to fight against the aggressor state - the russian federation", - he said.

Considering the issue of combating terrorist threats, the NSDC Secretary noted that "terrorist processes today are very diverse and pose a challenge for the whole Europe". According to him, russia has constantly resorted to information, energy, cyber terrorism, etc. towards Ukraine, and today "has added nuclear terrorism to its arsenal", which requires appropriate countermeasures from the civilized world.

The parties also discussed practical steps to implement cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the field of internal security, border cooperation, and countering international crime. The parties also touched on the issue of cooperation in the field of post-war adaptation of Ukrainian veterans.

In turn, Mr. Salmi expressed his admiration for "the courage of Ukrainians who are fighting an unprecedented aggressor, defending not only their own freedom but also democratic European values". Mr. Salmi assured of unwavering support for Ukraine on its way to victory over the russian aggressor and readiness to provide the necessary assistance to our country in the future.
