Ukraine will definitely win the war with the russian federation. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov stated this on-air at the national telethon. We have not taken a single step into the territory of another country, we are at home, we are protecting our native land, and we will protect it until the last temporarily occupied settlement returns to Ukraine's jurisdiction, he emphasized.

Mr. Danilov noted that putin's statements today are a reaction to the successful actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front - "an old, sick, nervous man reads from a prompter the text that was written to him", and evidence that disputes have already begun within the russian government.

The NSDC Seceetary noted that more than over 50 000 russian military personnel have already been "disposed of" in Ukraine, and the russian authorities are forced to replenish the losses by announcing a partial mobilization.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine, led by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, act confidently and professionally, - he emphasized. - All assigned combat tasks are completed. And I express my gratitude to all our guys and girls who defend our country".

Commenting on putin's statement about his intentions to recognize the results of the so-called "referendums" planned to be held by the occupying "authorities", Mr. Danilov said that these actions will not have any legal consequences either for Ukraine or for the world.

"Charlatans and scoundrels" who intend to organize pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied territories will face inevitable punishment, he said, noting that all criminals will bear criminal responsibility for their actions.

Speaking about the possibility of russia using nuclear weapons, the NSDC Secretary reminded that the whole world had warned putin about the consequences of this step. "The response will be instantaneous, and if he only dares to even take a step forward to the use of tactical nuclear weapons, the end of the russian federation will come in a very short period of time", - Mr. Danilov said adding that this bluff shows that the russian authorities are "in a very dire situation".
