Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Partha Satpathy

Ukraine and India have significant potential for cooperation in the field of military-technical cooperation, energy security and overcoming the energy crisis, combating the COVID-19 pandemic, etc.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov emphasized this during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Partha Satpathy on the occasion of the end of Mr. Ambassador’s diplomatic term in Ukraine.

Among the priority areas of bilateral cooperation, the NSDC Secretary also named the joint efforts in the field of climate change and environmental protection.

The parties acknowledged the successful partnership and discussed prospects for practical cooperation, in particular, in the security sector, agriculture, pharmacy, and titanium, etc. According to the parties, further development of scientific and technical cooperation between Ukraine and India is important.

“We are on the verge of great progress in bilateral cooperation”, - the NSDC Secretary said.

Mr. Danilov expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ambassador for his efforts in stepping up and developing relations between our states and wished success in further work.
