The NCSCC to cooperate with the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine
On November 19, this year, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Serhiy Demedyuk (Deputy Head of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center at the NSDC of Ukraine) and Rector of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine Andriy Chernyak signed a memorandum of partnership and cooperation between the NCSCC and the Academy.
The Deputy NSDC Secretary stressed that the preparation of a qualified and competent personnel reserve in the field of cyber defense is an extremely important issue for the security and defense sector. He said that the NCSCC is interested in training specialists who will protect Ukrainian cyberspace.
“Such knowledge is honed only in practice. The NCSCC monitors all cyber incidents that occur on the territory of Ukraine, - Mr. Demedyuk said. - We are ready to provide our platform for internships and skills training of students of the SSU Academy, who will be engaged in cyber defense in the future. Therefore, future specialists will be able to study the existing threats and learn to counter them”.
There was an exchange of views on the role of the SSU in the national cybersecurity system, the interaction of the main actors of cybersecurity in order to prevent cyberattacks and minimize their consequences.
