Oleksiy Danilov: Ukraine is ready to strengthen cooperation with the Baltic States in the cybersecurity sphere
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral security cooperation and prospects for its further expansion.
The NSDC Secretary highly praised Estonia’s assistance to Ukraine in the difficult realities of the hybrid war waged by the Russian Federation against our state.
Oleksiy Danilov stressed the urgency of expanding bilateral cooperation with the Baltic States, in particular, with Estonia, in the cybersecurity sphere. “Ukraine is at the forefront of the fight against hybrid aggression, - he said. - And our task is to strengthen cooperation in the cybersecurity sphere with NATO structures and member states, as Russia has recently significantly intensified the information war”.
In this context, the NSDC Secretary expressed interest in maximizing practical cooperation with NATO’s cyber center in Estonia.
In his turn, Mr. Ambassador noted that Estonia is interested in developing bilateral cooperation with Ukraine in the cybersecurity sphere.
