Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksiy Solovyov met with the leaders of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Volunteer Affairs

Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Solovyov held a meeting with the leaders of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society and Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Volunteer Affairs Natalia Pushkareva.

During the meeting, the action plan for the vaccination of Ukrainian citizens against COVID-19 was discussed. In particular, the possibility of coordinating efforts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic and involve the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in assessing the COVID-19 spread among citizens of Ukraine was considered.

In addition, the financial aspects of the vaccination process and possible joint actions to raise public awareness of the vaccine were discussed.

“The Ukrainian Red Cross Society, as the country’s largest humanitarian organization, is ready to cooperate with government agencies on vaccination of citizens, as the health of millions of people depends on it”, -  Director General of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society Maksym Dotsenko noticed.
