Financing of the security and defense sector of Ukraine in January-June 2020 was fully completed

Within the framework of control over the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of November 2, 2019 “On Proposals to the Draft Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2020” in regards to articles related to national security and defense of Ukraine, the NSDC Staff has analyzed the state of relevant financing of the security and defense sector of Ukraine during January-June 2020.

Financing of the security and defense sector of Ukraine under the general fund of the state budget during this period was fully completed according to the monthly allocations schedule - 101 894,8 million hryvnias.

According to operative data, the special fund of the state budget for this period received more than 69,7% of revenues from the annual plan.

Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov stressed that materials for the NSDC meeting on “Proposals to the draft Law of Ukraine ”On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021” on articles related to national security and defense of Ukraine” should be prepared taking into account the analysis.
