Ukrainian specialists have departed to the United States to participate in preparation for the launch of Northrop Grumman corporation’s «Antares» system

Specialists of the SE «Yuzhnoye» State Design Office named after M. K. Yangel» and «Hartron-Arkos» LTD have departed to the United States to participate in preparation for the launch of Northrop Grumman corporation’s «Antares» system, which is scheduled to deliver cargo to the International Space Station by NASA’s order in September this year.

The organization of the flight of Ukrainian specialists, in particular regarding decisions on granting the necessary permits for departure, was made possible particularly thanks to the support and interagency coordination of joint actions by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

As Director-General of the SE «Yuzhnoye» State Design Office Oleksandr Degtyarev noticed, through joint concerted actions, Ukraine has demonstrated its readiness and ability to promptly make prudent decisions and take decisive actions in the interests of international partnership in conditions of almost complete isolation of all countries of the world.
