Oleksiy Danilov held a coordination meeting in preparation for the meeting of the NSDC of Ukraine

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine should develop an extensive set of measures to ensure the national interests of the state in conditions of increased instability and external threats. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov stressed this during a coordination meeting (in preparation for the meeting of the NSDC Ukraine) on possible scenarios of reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, held at the NSDC Staff.

Mr. Danilov underscored that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy clearly stated his stance on the inadmissibility of resolving the problem of the occupied territories by military means and the necessity of reaching peace in the East of Ukraine through political and diplomatic efforts. The NSDC Secretary is confident that our state, with the support of international partners, will manage to return the temporarily occupied territories and cease hostilities. "Not only Ukraine needs peace but Europe as well. Our common task is to put an end to this war", - he said.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have all the necessary directives for different scenarios.
