Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov expressed his deepest condolences to the family and friends of the commander of the 128th separate mountain-assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel Yevhen Korostelev.
"Yevhen Korostelev is a true hero, a patriot who had selflessly performed his military duty. Ukraine has lost an extraordinary, brave, courageous warrior who defended the State at the cost of his own life. May his memory live forever", - Mr. Danilov said.
Yevhen Korostelev,
who suffered severe wounds on November 12 at the frontline near the village of
Novotroitske as a result of a landmine explosion, died yesterday in a Kharkiv
hospital.
