Dear workers and veterans of rescue services, I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday!

Your profession is truly noble, carried for the sake of your neighbor. It requires utmost dedication, courage and fortitude.

You are the ones able to curb the flames, prevent incidents and catastrophes, dismantle ammunition, rescue people on the water, on fire and on land, and help the hopeless to move on.

And this is by no means a complete list of possible "101" Service's options.

Your workday is, at times, a constant "emergency" situation that rescuers overcome with dignity, risking their lives and health. Without fanfare, such heroism deserves respect.

But among the many unmentioned virtues is your modesty, which nobly "silences" all the daily feats you unhesitantly perform for the good of Ukrainians.

Thank you for your daily, tireless work that makes our lives safer!

We also commemorate the deed of citizens who have eliminated the consequences of man-made and natural disasters. May the memory of those who are no longer with us live forever...

Dear rescuers, I wish you good health and happiness, family comfort and well-being, prosperity, more happy accidents and less alarming calls!
