For 27 years, officers of the Main Directorate of Intelligence with dignity and high professionalism have performed their military duty to the Motherland and the Ukrainian people to guarantee the national security and defense of Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Military intelligence has also earned well-deserved authority from NATO's partner countries' intelligence services.

Ukraine appreciates your courage and unyielding morale, limitless dedication, love of homeland, patriotism and heroism displayed by military intelligence agents particularly in the fight against Russian aggression.

Important and up-to-date information obtained by you at risk for life, active and purposeful special measures, step by step, bring us closer to our victory and peace on Ukrainian soil.

Honoring the military intelligence officers, we bow our heads before the bright memory of the heroes who gave the most precious thing - their lives - for our freedom. Among them is Hero of Ukraine Major General Maksym Shapoval. Their feat and sacrifice will forever remain in the memory of present and future generations. Eternal glory to them!

We pay deep respect to veterans of military intelligence who pass on their invaluable experience to the younger generation.
