Oleksandr Danyliuk on telecast with Russia24 and NewsOne: to compare this misfit with US-USSR telecast in 1986 is cheap manipulation

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk commented on the announced telecast with the participation of Russian propaganda channel Russia24 and NewsOne TV channel from Viktor Medvedchuk media group.

"To compare this misfit with US-USSR telecast in 1986, between different ideologies and propaganda machines, is cheap manipulation.

Now they offer us to "link" the Kremlin domestic propaganda with its branch in Kyiv, and they are calling it a "breakthrough" in the relations between the "brother" nations.

I ask everyone to stop the hysteria. Especially those who in recent years allowed strengthening the position of the godfather of Putin's child Medvedchuk in Ukraine from the position of President Poroshenko. Those who gave him the opportunity to negotiate, buy channels on a partnership basis. Those who, under the same conditions, allowed him to build a profitable energy resource business.

It was obvious that Medvedchuk was not doing this as a hobby. The construction of illegal "bridges" is becoming Russia's specialty.

We, as a strong country, must respond confidently, without unnecessary emotions and panic. Because that is what they expect. The number of such provocations will only increase. We need to keep our heads cold.
