Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak participated in the tests of modernized missiles of the “Vilkha” multiple launch rocket system

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak took part in the tests of modernized missiles of the "Vilkha" multiple launch rocket system.

The state tests of modernized "Vilkha-R" missiles, which took place in the south of the Odesa region, confirmed the consistency of the product characteristics with those set in the performance specification.

Mr. Danyliuk stressed that the issue of increasing the combat capability of the Armed Forces is one of the top priorities for the NSDC of Ukraine. In this context, the NSDC Secretary reminded that the Council had adopted a range of decisions to ensure the early adoption and delivery of modern and effective missile weapons to the army.

"Vilkha" missiles were developed by designers of the state enterprise "State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" in cooperation with other state and private Ukrainian defense enterprises. This unique powerful high-precision weapon, with its combat capabilities surpassing similar Russian weapons, will be produced in the closed cycle.
