It is fundamentally important that the money supply of our fighters grows faster than of the employees of the budget sphere. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov during a working visit to the Joint Forces Operation zone.

On Monday, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov and Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak visited the Donetsk region, where they met with troops of the Joint Forces Operation.

During the working visit, President of Ukraine, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Petro Poroshenko instructed Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak to increase the additional payments for troops of units located on the first line of defense.

Mr. Turchynov reminded that according to the NSDC decision, in 2019 more than 5% of GDP will be directed to the needs of the security and defense sector of Ukraine. "Significant increase in the monetary support for military personnel has become one of the important priorities of this year's budget", - he said.
