Serhiy Kryvonos: The first middle-sized reconnaissance ship for the needs of the Naval Forces has been floated out today
The first middle-sized reconnaissance ship for the needs of the Naval Forces, constructed by "Kuznya on Rybalsky" plant at the commission of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has been floated out today.
This was announced by Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Serhiy Kryvonos, who took part in the ceremony.
According to him, the ship is equipped with modern means of radio, radar, optoelectronic reconnaissance. "Most of the special equipment is manufactured in Ukraine and corresponds to the best world standards. The eyes of our military sailors were full of happiness to see the first ship already on float", - he emphasized.
Mr. Kryvonos reminded that "Kuznya on Rybalsky"
is able to "satisfy the need for small and middle class boats for the Naval
Forces of Ukraine in the Azov and Black Seas". "Everything needed is available -
facilities, specialists and craftsmen, engineers and designers at enterprises,
there is a desire and there is a need for our military sailors; the task of funding
the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the allocation of funds by the
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine still remains", - Deputy Secretary of the NSDC
of Ukraine.
