I congratulate the legendary National Guard of Ukraine on a professional holiday!

The National Guard was born of the Revolution of Dignity. In March 2014, when a violent and brutal enemy threatened the very existence of our country, many volunteers directly from Maidan went to the ranks of the newly formed National Guard to protect the country. The guards became the reliable shield of our country, among the first ones they entered into battle and stopped the advance of the Russian aggressor in the east. It was then that the enemy learned that Ukraine has a Guard that does not retreat but is always ready to defeat the internal and external enemies of its state.

Eternal glory to the national guards who gave their lives for Ukraine, for our freedom and independence!

The servicemen of the National Guard are highly professional, courageous and persistent patriots of Ukraine who defend it not only in the east as part of the Joint Forces Operation. The national guards eliminate the attempts of the enemy's agents, terrorists, saboteurs, traitors, criminals and provocateurs to destabilize the situation inside the country. You are countering the attempts to sow disappointment, panic and chaos, protect the peaceful life and calm of our citizens in all regions of Ukraine.
