Greetings of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov on Christmas
Merry Christmas, dear friends!
The birthday of the Savior is a wonderful Day when love and light came to the world to overcome the cold night, malice and darkness of fear.
For the second year in a row, Ukraine officially celebrates Christmas together with the whole civilized world - on December 25, when the night gives way to the day, and every day there is more light and less darkness!
Jesus Christ told about two ways - a broad downhill path easy to go but leading to the abyss. But there is another way, the narrow one up which is difficult but the only one leading to true victory, salvation, and eternal life!
The Ukrainian nation has chosen the difficult path - the path of struggle and losses, the path that only those courageous and unbreakable can overcome! Not everyone is happy about it, there are those who want to stop, returning to the morass of "safe" slavery. Fortunately, most Ukrainians continue to change and strengthen their country, protect their families and their children. We have chosen the difficult path, but only so we can become free, strong, invincible, and our Ukraine can become a great and powerful state!
Faith and Love will give us strength and inspiration, and the born Son of God will lead us to Victory!
Merry Christmas! May God bless Ukraine! May God lay mercy on you and your families, and may the Star of Bethlehem light your way, bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to every family, fill your hearts with good and love!
Christ was born! Praise Him!
