Oleg Hladkovskiy held a meeting with the ambassadors of Ukraine in the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia

First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy met with the ambassadors of Ukraine in the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

He stressed that the systematic informing of representatives of the military structures of the host countries about the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry significantly contributes to the conclusion of contracts on the procurement of Ukrainian weapons and military equipment.

Mr. Hladkovskiy called extremely promising directions of military-technical cooperation with the countries of the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

To his belief, special attention should be paid to Ukraine's production cooperation with these countries, in particular, on joint projects in the armored vehicles industry, modernization of military equipment, the creation of new high-precision weapons, and aviation.

Also during the meeting, the high official drew attention to the fact that Ukraine has not signed agreements on military-technical cooperation with some states of the region, and therefore it is crucial to intensify work in this direction.

Oleg Hladkovskiy emphasized that effective dissemination of information about our state's steps towards the liberalization of the arms market, particularly, regarding the simplification of the procedure for export of military goods and import of components to them, will not only help to improve the image of our state but also expand cooperation with foreign partners.
