Dear defenders of Ukraine's airspace, veterans of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine!

Today, celebrating the professional holiday of military aviators - the Day of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian people are proud of their defenders!

In a short time, you have gained strength and combat experience in the professional defense of our country's airspace, showing selflessness and courage, exemplary loyalty and heroism in carrying out tasks for the containment of armed aggression.

You were among the first to stand up for our Homeland in 2014, carrying out combat missions in air support of ground troops, reconnaissance, air transportation of units and cargo, as well as evacuation of the wounded. May the memory of the crews, who have not returned from combat duty, live forever!

The mastership of Ukrainian pilots is known and recognized far beyond Ukraine. The exemplary accomplishment of transport, peacekeeping tasks and flight demonstrations during Ukraine's presentation at international aviation exhibitions, - this is not a complete list of victories of our military pilots who have earned respect in many countries of the world.

The State is making every possible effort to upgrade and modernize aircraft, taking into account today's requirements and challenges to Ukraine's national security.

I express my sincere gratitude to all servicemen of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the exemplary performance of military duty, to the employees - for their diligent work for the good of Ukraine, and to veterans of military aviation - for their dedication and a significant contribution to preparing the younger generation of Ukrainian falcons and engineering staff.

I sincerely wish you good health, family well-being and success in the noble mission of serving the Ukrainian people! May God protect you and your families and our native country!
