Oleksandr Lytvynenko: The basic draft law on national security has actually been finalized
Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko reported that the basic draft law on national security has actually been finalized and expressed hope that next year this document will be approved by the parliament.
This was stated by Mr. Lytvynenko in his speech at the roundtable discussion "Ukraine-NATO. A Year of Rapprochement and Integration. Plans, Expectations, and Results of Interaction".
According to Mr. Lytvynenko, next year, the NSDC of Ukraine is looking forward to the results of the implementation of the National Security Strategy of Ukraine, the Concept for the Development of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine and the Strategic Defense Bulletin, as well as to the adoption of a number of documents on reforming the system of state secrets protection and enhancement of intelligence capabilities, which are currently being processed.
He called achieving interoperability with NATO one of the primary tasks.
