Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov tested the first prototype of an integrated system of information counteraction in the area of responsibility of the "Donetsk" operational-tactical grouping.

According to Mr. Turchynov, as promised, an integrated system of information counteraction to be deployed along the delimitation line in the ATO zone "will allow to effectively block anti-Ukrainian TV and radio broadcasting". "Importantly, this system allows you to selectively block the analog, digital and satellite TV and radio channels distributing separatist and pro-Russian propaganda, and yet not interfere with the Ukrainian TV and radio broadcast", - Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine stressed reminding that at his request, resources were allocated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from the reserve fund for this system.

Oleksandr Turchynov reported that the tests were successful: "Russian and separatist channels were securely blocked, while Ukrainian ones were confidently taken in by receivers without any hindrances".

Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine Leonid Evdochenko reported to the NSDC Secretary that after the system is tested, it will take up to four months to deploy it along the entire delimitation line.
