Oleksandr Turchynov: Russia’s and North Korea’s regimes are becoming more and more similar
Russia's and North Korea's regimes are becoming more and more similar to each other, and the world is beginning to realize this. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov in his comment on the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation by the US.
According to him, sanctions against Russia enacted by the law signed by the US President Donald Trump are a vitally important decision. "It is significant that the sanctions law passed by the Congress, supported by the Senate and signed by the US President Donald Trump puts Russia next to North Korea", - Mr. Turchynov said.
"This shows that the world is beginning to realize that the regimes of these countries are becoming more and more similar to each other - unpredictable and dangerous", - he pointed out.
At the same time, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine summarized, this is one of the important steps towards the complete isolation of Putin and that totalitarian country, to which he has transformed contemporary Russia. "All dictators must remember that they have only one ending - total contempt and disgrace", - he noted.
