Oleksandr Turchynov: A strategic document on cooperation between defense industries of Ukraine and Turkey was signed

A strategic document on cooperation between defense industries of Ukraine and Turkey was signed. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov after the Memorandum of cooperation was signed by the State Concern "Ukroboronprom" and the Secretariat of Defense Industry of the Republic Turkey in Istanbul.

The Memorandum was signed by Director General of the State Concern "Ukroboronprom" Roman Romanov and Undersecretary for Defense Industry of Turkey Ismail Demir after the negotiations of Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov and Minister of National Defense of Turkey Fikri Yshyk in their presence.

"This document will outline the strategic directions of cooperation for the leading defense companies of our countries", - Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine underscored.

As previously reported, Oleksandr Turchynov is heading the official delegation of Ukraine during his visit to Istanbul (the Republic of Turkey), where the international defense industry exhibition "IDEF 2017" is taking place.
