Oleksandr Turchynov: Modern developments of domestic producers will allow broadcasting the signal of Ukrainian radio and TV beyond the delimitation line
Ukrainian radio and TV will be available beyond the delimitation line. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov while answering journalists' questions in the Training center for policemen of special purpose squad "KORD" (Vita Poshtova village, Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district of Kyiv region).
According to him, the use of domestic developments of information security systems "will enable us to effectively block anti-Ukrainian broadcasting selectively blocking both analog and digital channels that distribute separatist and Russian propaganda, and yet not affect the operation of Ukrainian broadcasting".
Mr. Turchynov pointed out that first the technology, which is "much cheaper than foreign analogs", will be used along the delimitation line, and after that, it will be utilized along the whole Ukrainian-Russian border.
Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine expressed his conviction that "soon at a 30-50 km distance beyond the delimitation line people will listen to Ukrainian radio and watch Ukrainian TV channels".
As previously reported, the leadership of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection reported on the elaborate information protection project "that will allow blocking anti-Ukrainian broadcasting along the delimitation line in the ATO zone".
Given the urgency of implementing this task, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine addressed a proposal to Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on allocating financial resources needed for the project from the Government Reserve Fund.
