First Deputy to the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy took part in the specialized aerospace exhibition AeroIndia-2017

First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy paid a working visit to India, where he took part in the specialized aerospace exhibition AeroIndia-2017 in Bangalore.

During the talks with the Minister of Defense of India, heads of defense agencies and leading companies in the military-technical sector, joint projects in aviation and armored spheres, air defense, and production of missile-artillery weapons were discussed.

"I especially want to emphasize that a promising sphere for cooperation between our countries in the aviation sphere, in particular, in terms of stepping up the creation of new civil and military-transport aircraft with the participation of "Antonov" State Company. I am confident that this area of cooperation is mutually beneficial for both sides, so we need to speed up the required procedures and take practical steps. It is also necessary to deepen coollaboration in other areas of military-technical cooperation, focusing on the creation of Ukrainian-Indian enterprises", - Mr. Hladkovskiy pointed out.

The parties also discussed the possibility of participation of Indian companies in import substitution programs in the sphere of military-technical production in Ukraine.

International aerospace exhibition AeroIndia, which is held in India for the eleventh time, became the center of development of defense cooperation between the aviation industry enterprises throughout Asia. The participants of the exhibition are the world-leading companies in military and civilian aircraft industry.
