First Deputy to the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy visited “Yuzhnoye” Design Office

A meeting involving First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy, Deputy Minister of Defense Igor Pavlovsky, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine took place at "Yuzhnoye" Design Office.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the creation of advanced weapons and military equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The participants of the meeting checked out the production capacities of the SE "Yuzhnoye" Design Office" (located in Dnipro),  the SE "RIC "Pavlograd Chemical Plant" (Pavlograd), Pavlograd Mechanical Plant (Pavlograd), the SE "RIC "Southern Machine-Building Plant" (Dnipro).

Moreover, the SE "Yuzhnoye" Design Office" presented the test results of the components of the tactical missile complex "Thunder-2".

"With special pride, I would like to note that the results of these tests suggest the creation in the nearest time of a super-modern Ukrainian tactical missile complex for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the organization of its production", - Mr. Hladkovskiy noticed.

Other developments of the SE "Yuzhnoye" Design Office" and Ukrainian enterprises concerning the creation of advanced weapons and military equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also presented.

"Thanks to the technologies developed by "Yuzhnoye" Design Office" Ukraine has the opportunity to present modern missile-rocket weapons for ground, air and naval units of the Armed Forces of our state, which undoubtedly stands a good chance to compete in the world market of weapons and military equipment", - Oleg Hladkovskiy stated.
