335 individuals and 167 legal entities were put on the previous year’s sanctions list, - the Press Service of the NSDC of Ukraine
On September 16, 2016, a meeting of the NSDC of Ukraine took place. At the meeting, the sanctions against all individuals (except persons who had died) and legal entities introduced since September 16, 2015, were extended.
At this meeting, it was also decided to expand the list of the persons on whom personal restrictive measures (sanctions) should be imposed. In such a way, 335 individuals and 167 legal entities, identification data about which was subject to additional testing, were additionally put on the sanctions list.
No amendments regarding the list of individuals and legal entities adopted at the NSDC meeting of September 16, 2016, were made.
In addition, the President of Ukraine assigned to prepare a separate decision concerning the restrictive measures (sanctions) against the persons who were involved in the so-called "elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation" on the territory of the annexed Crimea peninsula. This applies to the "deputies" and the members of "election commissions". The decision on this list of persons will be made public in the nearest time.
