Oleksandr Turchynov: The first stage of reforming of the national security and defense system is completed

The first stage of reforming of the national security and defense system is completed. This was stated by Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov at a press conference.

According to him, during 2015 and the first half of 2016, the strategic vision of the development of the national security and defense system was determined. Its legal and regulatory framework are generally formed.

"The strategic goals of the reform are actively implemented", - he said, adding that the first stage of reforming of the national security and defense system is completed.

"The key task of further implementation of the reform of the national security and defense system is the development of the security and defense potential of the state. Special responsibility for the reform progress is imposed on the heads of the security and defense sector in accordance with the tasks set by the President of Ukraine and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine", - the NSDC Secretary summarized.
