Today, Special Operations Forces celebrate their professional holiday for the first time. I sincerely congratulate our warriors!

Ukrainian special operations forces have been only recently created, but your main fighting body consists of true patriots who proved their heroism and professionalism protecting our country in heavy fights.

Our army is nowadays transforming into a true elite of the nation, the prestige of military service is growing, the system of military training and education is improving. The evidence of this are the units of Special Operations Forces, created by the best examples of respective units of the NATO member states and with the help of experienced specialists from our partner countries.

You are first-class professionals able to complete extremely complicated and dangerous tasks. I am confident that your units, charged with a great many of tasks, will become one of the decisive arguments in the victory over the enemy and the liberation of the occupied territory.
