During the negotiations, Oleksandr Turchynov thanked leaders of Parliament "for the decision of Senate and Sejm in support of Nadiya Savchenko and for demands concerning her release".

NSDC Secretary reached out to the interlocutors with a request to support the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine from March 25, 2016 "On introduction of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) against individuals, involved in unlawful actions towards Nadiya Savchenko, Oleg Syentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko". He expressed hope that Poland will support sanctions, proposed by NSDC of Ukraine, and individuals, involved in torturing of Nadiya Savchenko, Oleg Syentsov and other Ukrainian patriots, "will not be able to get not only to Poland but to all civilized countries of Europe".
