This was stated by NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov at a briefing during the conduction of exercises of the special purpose brigade of National Guard of Ukraine.

"Ukraine consistently fulfills undertaken obligations, but we do not note the withdrawal of Russian troops from the occupied territory or the reduction of the concentration of Russian troops, stationed along our eastern border", - he said, stressing that this is exactly why the improvement of combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine still remains one of our top priorities.

"Taking into account the significant increase of activity of combat sabotage and reconnaissance and terrorist groups, which are being trained as at the occupied territories so in special camps, located along our borders with Russia, one of the tasks of the special purpose brigade will be detection, localization and elimination of armed saboteurs", - Oleksandr Turchynov said, adding that having a powerful military equipment and professionally trained troopers, the brigade will be able to execute any military task.

"The formation of the brigade should end within two months, but despite that, the soldiers are completing the combat coordination and are ready to execute combat tasks", - NSDC Secretary emphasized.
