Oleksandr Turchynov: Russia is preparing bloody provocations in eastern Ukraine

According to the information available to NSDC, Russian intelligence agencies are preparing bloody provocations with numerous victims at the occupied territories. This is stated in the comments of NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov.

"At the occupied territories Russian intelligence agencies are carrying out the selection of objects crowded with people: kindergartens, educational institution, residential houses, objects of infrastructure, etc., and finalizing the scenarios of organizing the terrorist acts", - he said, adding that Russian government sets a goal to bring the number of civilian casualties during terroristic attacks at the occupied territories "to the amount comparable with the number of victims of flight MN17 tragedy".

NSDC Secretary also stressed that criminal provocations are planned by Moscow in order to accuse the leadership of Ukraine of crimes against humanity "and to initiate at the international level the issue of bringing Ukrainian authorities to responsibility".

"This bloody crime is planned to organize disguised as shellings by Ukrainian armed forces in response to numerous provocations", - he explained.

Oleksandr Turchynov stated that according to the plan of Russian intelligence agencies, "the bloody terrorist attacks have to divert global attention from the responsibility of Russia for the downing of "Boeing", to legitimize and justify intensification of Russian aggression as well as to deprive Ukraine of support in the world and to cause its international isolation".
