During the previous day the Russian-terrorist groups, in flagrant violation of the ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons agreements, carried out one of the most powerful shelling since the signing of the Minsk agreements. Shelling of the Ukrainian positions was conducted using the prohibited powerful 152-mm artillery systems. Eight Ukrainian soldiers were killed and sixteen were wounded.

Recently takes place the activation of attempts of infiltration of terrorist and sabotage and reconnaissance groups to the territory of Ukraine, the enemy has enhanced the activity of agent network and agents of influence to undermine social and political stability, spread panic and incite citizens to provocative actions, including attempts to block the movement of Armed Forces and National Guard units.

These actions show the further attempt of Russia and its puppets to completely destroy the Minsk agreements and resume active hostilities, launching the offensive at least on three important directions along the line of collision.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carries out the effective measures of counteraction to Russian aggression. The operational headquarters has been created with participation of chiefs of defense and law enforcement agencies to organize counteraction to any provocations of Kremlin agents, to assure order in the country and security of citizens.
