Oleksandr Turchynov: Russia will be prosecuted in the international court for the downed “Boeing”
Russia will be prosecuted in the international court for destroying Malaysian Boeing 777, in consequence of what the civilians were killed. Such was stated by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov in his interview to the 5th channel.The NSDC Secretary noted that countries which have advanced technologies, including overhead intelligence, hold more than enough evidence of the Russian Federation involvement in the downing of that aircraft.
"It's already a proven fact that the Russian air defense missile system "BUK" (SA-11 Gadfly) was used to do that. There are more than enough evidence and arguments, satellite images and other material evidence proving Russia's direct responsibility for this terrorist act", - he emphasized.
At the same time the NSDC Secretary expressed hope that the investigation will be completed by the end of the year and case materials will be submitted to the international court, which "will condemn criminals and murderers".
According to Oleksandr Turchynov, though Russia is trying to tighten the investigation, constantly producing awkward versions, there will be no chance for it to avoid responsibility for killing people. "What happened - is an international terrorism. It is precisely Russia which today became the center of international terrorism. That is the most important thing which our strategic partners need to understand" - he said.
