Cyber security and cyber intelligence training for security and defense sector specialists took place at the NCSCC
The National Cybersecurity Coordination Center at the NSDC of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, with the support of the US Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF Global) and the US Department of State, organized a two-day training on cyber security and cyber intelligence for security and defense sector specialists on the topic "Cyber Security, cyber incident/cyber threat management and cyber intelligence”.
Representatives of this leading organization in the field of cyber security conducted the training within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed on 03/20/2023 between the NCSCC and the international cyber security company of the USA and Australia "Internet 2.0".
More than 40 representatives of the security and defense sector took part in the training.
Among the main topics mastered by the training participants: the latest methods and technologies in the field of cyber security, including detection and response to threats, data protection and incident management, intelligence gathering and document analysis. The participants of the event also had the opportunity to practice the acquired skills.
"It is easier to prevent and prepare for an attack than to react to the consequences. This training provided an opportunity to improve practical skills and gain the experience of advanced cyber security organizations to protect our country from cyber threats," Head of the NCSCC Support Service of the NSDC Staff Serhiy Prokopenko said.
During the “Internet 2.0” training, software products were also introduced that allow for botnet research and analysis of malicious code.
