Oleksiy Danilov: Ukraine has no intention of ceding fundamental principles - territorial integrity and freedom

The issue of principles is fundamental for us, so Ukraine will not give up its territorial integrity and freedom. This was stated by  Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, on the air of the national telethon on the TV channel "1+1" on Tuesday, March 7.

"The enemy will be defeated on the battlefield, so the "plan B" of negotiations will be used. "Minsk-3" is unacceptable for Ukrainian society, because more than 95% of citizens believe in our victory," Oleksiy Danilov said.

Secretary of the NSDC emphasized that since 2014, Ukraine has paid too high a price for independence and freedom, which is "disproportionate to the proposals of some figures."

"There is a decision of the NSDC according to which we cannot conduct any negotiations with putin. Our people will not allow us to return the influence of russia, the medvedchuks and others, and any concessions will end in a new war, Oleksiy Danilov noted. - It is impossible to negotiate with terrorists, russia is a terrorist country that must be held accountable under international law and be punished for its crimes."

Answering a question about lukashenko's reaction to the situation related to the damage to the russian airplane А-50 MAINSTAY in belarus, Secretary of the NSDC called it inadequate.

"Lukashenko's behavior is beginning to surprise," Oleksiy Danilov said.
