O. Danilov: Each unit of weapons provided to Ukraine by partners is under close control

All weapons that cross the Ukrainian border are under close control of the state and our partners.

This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, during the presentation on Thursday of the module of the "SOTA" information and analytical system on monitoring the supply of weapons to Ukraine from partner countries, which was put into effect on February 24 of this year.

This module, which consists of three contours - public information, information for official use and secret information, was implemented by the NSDC Staff in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The module allows you to monitor new arms deliveries by status (for example, ready for shipment, on the way, or received by the Armed Forces) and donor countries, analyze arms deliveries in time, by periods of adoption, donor countries, compliance with NATO standards, classification to Soviet weapons samples, etc.

The Secretary of the NSDC noted that the russian federation is currently conducting a powerful information campaign to discredit our state regarding Ukraine's alleged sale of weapons to third countries in order, among other things, to disrupt its supply. According to him, the higher military-political leadership has access to the SOTA system, and thanks to this system, "we know that not a single bullet from the supplies has disappeared anywhere." Each weapon unit is controlled, he emphasized.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, who took part in the event, said that the supply of weapons is controlled by three systems, in particular, "SOTA" and the NATO logistics accounting and control system LOGFAS, which Ukraine received in 2019. According to the Minister, the domestic military universities teach how to use this system, and he recently appealed to NATO to provide more licenses and terminals. "Our dream is to bring it to the battalion level," said O. Reznikov.

He said that Ukrainian experts, together with Pentagon specialists, are currently finalizing another control system, which will soon be used in full.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine also stated that the russian federation will not be able to disrupt the supply of weapons to our country.

The new module provides for the possibility of calculating the supply of ammunition to weapons units, monitoring the implementation of supply plans, and distributing the received weapons.

The module is integrated with the portal of the "SOTA" system for tracking the situation on the front line of operations, monitoring the deployment of enemy forces, missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, shelling of populated areas, geographical reference of messages related to military actions, emergency situations and high-profile statements in the media space .

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar also took part in the event.
