Experts of the NSDC Staff took part in a round table “Countering Cyber Threats and Disinformation” organized by the Slovenian Presidency of the EU Council

Head of the Information Security and Cybersecurity Service of the Staff of NSDC of Ukraine Natalia Tkachuk took part in a round table discussion on “Countering Cyber ​​Threats and Disinformation” organized by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

During the round table held on November 16 in Brussels (Belgium), the issue of combating hybrid threats, priorities, and major EU initiatives on this issue were discussed, in particular on areas of cooperation with the EU’s Eastern Partnership countries.

Ms. Tkachuk presented Ukraine’s progress in developing a national cybersecurity system, as well as the results of activities of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDC of Ukraine. European partners praised the achievements of our country, the adoption of a new Cybersecurity Strategy, and stressed that supporting Ukraine in the field of cybersecurity and combating disinformation is one of the priorities for the European Union.

In addition, Natalia Tkachuk held a series of working meetings with the Head of the Cybersecurity Sector of the European External Action Service Ms. Manon le Blanc and cybersecurity experts of the Support Group for Ukraine in the European Commission, during which they discussed further cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in these areas.
