Oleksiy Danilov met with students of the senior strategic level management course (L-4) of the NDU of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovsky

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov met with students of the senior strategic level management course (L-4) of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovsky.

During the meeting, which took place at the Main Situation Center at the NSDC of Ukraine, the servicemen got acquainted with the work of the Center and examined its capabilities for effective decision-making. “Today, the Center’s facilities allow real-time assessment of the situation and prompt response to security challenges”, - the NSDC Secretary pointed out.

Mr. Danilov congratulated the students of the leading university with the beginning of the new academic year and wished them success in their studies and further professional achievements. He stressed that one of the important factors in Ukraine’s integration into NATO is the knowledge of English by servicemen, and this should be taken into account when planning a modern educational process.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on ways to develop different types of troops, on the development of advanced weapons and military equipment. The NSDC Secretary also touched upon the importance of the cyber component in the national security system.

The materiel support of servicemen was also discussed, in particular, the need to address the issue of providing them with housing.
