The NSDC of Ukraine does not have any draft decisions to “soften” the quarantine measures
No “draft NSDC decisions” to “soften” the quarantine measures introduced to counter the coronavirus infection have been prepared at the Staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Commenting on the news spread by some media, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov called it “irresponsible disinformation and an element of special information operation launched against our country to destabilize the situation”.
It bears reminding that the quarantine restrictions in Ukraine have been introduced by governmental decisions, in particular by the new version of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution №211 “On prevention of the spread of COVID-19 acute respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in Ukraine”.
We emphasize that the measures taken by the authorities to counter coronavirus infection are effective, efficient and similar to those of most countries of Europe and the world.
We urge journalists not to use unverified sources of information, but to utilize official messages from the authorities.
