Dear Ukrainians!

Today we celebrate the Day of Unity of Ukraine! This day is a significant milestone for our country - 102 years ago the Ukrainian People's Republic proclaimed its Independence, and it was on this day 101 years ago that the Unification Act of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the West Ukrainian People's Republic was proclaimed.

The idea of ​​Ukraine's unity became a manifestation of the spirit of the Ukrainian people, the basis for the revival of an independent Ukrainian state. And though then, a hundred years ago, we lost our statehood, today we have learned the lessons of the past, regained Independence, and chosen the European path of development.

I am convinced that thanks to the consistent and persistent work of each of us, we will make our common dream come true - a peaceful, happy, European Ukraine!
