Oleksiy Danilov: Fake about the “secret letter” on the “state strategy on the reintegration of Donbas” is part of information campaign, the purpose of which is to weaken the positions of the Ukrainian side in the negotiation process

"The nonsense about the "secret letter" of the NSDC Secretary on the so-called "state strategy on the reintegration of Donbas", - is not a casual fake, but part of a big information campaign. The campaign waged against Ukraine within the framework of the psychological operation aimed at weakening the position of the Ukrainian side in the negotiation process", - the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov stated in an interview with SEGODNYA.ua.

"It is logical to assume that a certain state of public opinion is being fostered in the occupied territories", - the NSDC Secretary said. - Obviously, it is an issue of intimidating the population in cities and villages not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities to create maximum obstacles to their integration and return to the "mainland" Ukraine".

"Our response to such provocations will be the development of a comprehensive state strategy on the reintegration of Donbas, the importance of which was recently stressed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. I fully share the stance of the Head of State on the importance of its transparency and publicity, a consensus approach to the development of this crucial document, and its realistic nature", - he said.
