Oleksandr Danyliuk: Our highest priority is the successful development of Ukraine, its society and economy
The new authorities, headed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, strive for the widest involvement of business circles in shaping and implementing state policy. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk in his speech at a roundtable discussion with representatives of companies-members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC).
According to him, a favorable business climate is a prerequisite for the progressive development of the domestic economy. "We need to strengthen the mechanisms of protection of property rights, investment protection, and the recent presidential decree on counteracting raiding is directed at this. We are determined to make radical changes", - the NSDC Secretary said.
During the roundtable, Mr. Danyliuk also pointed out that the issue of energy security, in particular, gas supply, is among the priorities. He stressed that Ukraine is interested in continuing transit under European rules.
The Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine invited members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine to participate in the development of a new National Security Strategy. "Who else but businessmen know what is needed for the economy. Your opinion is important", - he summed up.
