Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Serhiy Kryvonos is on an official visit to Canada

Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Serhiy Kryvonos is paying an official visit to Canada.

During the visit, which began on May 26, 2006, Mr. Kryvonos held a number of important meetings on the issues of further development of strategic military-political and military-technical bilateral cooperation in the security and defense sector.

In particular, talks were held with Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Defense of the Parliament of Canada Stephen Fuhr, with Representative of the House of Commons from the Conservative Party James Bezan, and with Assistant Deputy Minister of Policy Peter Hammerschmidt.

"Canada congratulates Ukraine with free elections, supports the newly elected President, and is Ukraine's long-standing strategic partner", - Mr. Kryvonos emphasized.

It is planned that the Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine will hold a number of meetings within the framework of the CANSE-2019 defense industry exhibition.
