Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov held a meeting with Nick Vujicic

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov met with Nick Vujicic, who arrived in Ukraine yesterday and presented a speech on Khreshchatyk, where over a hundred thousand Ukrainians gathered to see him.

According to Mr. Turchynov, he saw so many people together on the central street of the capital only during the Maidan.

Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine thanked Nick Vujicic for "an inspirational sermon energizing with faith and hope".

"Your example and your word are significant for everyone, especially for our soldiers who were seriously injured in the ATO zone, losing their limbs or being bound to a wheelchair. Your example inspires people all over the world not to surrender and to find the inner strength in order to take an active stance in society overcoming obstacles and trials of fate", - Mr. Turchynov noticed.

In his turn, Mr. Vujicic noticed that despite all the troubles, "there is always a place for faith, hope, and love". "This is what I want to convey to Ukrainians: your fate, the fate of your loved ones and your country depends on you", - he said adding that Ukraine is a special country with a great future.
