Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov held a meeting with Director of the Secretariat for Defense Industries of the Republic of Turkey Іsmail Demir.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the issues of bilateral military-technical cooperation. The parties stressed that there are already significant results in the joint Ukrainian-Turkish projects, which will strengthen defense capabilities of our countries.

The Turkish party invited Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine to visit the international defense industry exhibition IDEF-2017 to be held in May in Istanbul.

Within the joined exhibition of "Ukroboronprom", Ukraine will be represented by leading Ukrainian enterprises-developers and manufacturers of armaments: SE DB "Luch", SE "Antonov", DB "AO", SE "Mikrotek" and others, who will present the latest models of small weapons, ammunition, means of active and dynamic protection of armored vehicles, etc.
