Greetings of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov on the occasion of the Day of the Security Service of Ukraine
Today, personnel, staff, and veterans of the Security Service of Ukraine celebrate the 25th anniversary of its establishment.
During the last three years, the SSU has literally risen from the ashes, into which the puppet Yanukovych's regime together with Russian secret services had been turning it.
Top officials and personnel of the Service are patriots and professionals who guard the state interests, sovereignty and constitutional order, security, and peace of citizens of Ukraine. The SSU officers faithfully and selflessly fulfill their constitutional duty, effectively resist the enemy at the external and home fronts - Russian aggressor, terrorists, subversives, enemy agents, the fifth column and corrupt officials.
An important focus of the Security Service's daily work is to release Ukrainian soldiers and civilians who were taken captives by terrorists.
May the memory and glory of those SSU officers who gave their lives defending the interests of Ukraine and its citizens live forever!
I wish you good health, inexhaustible energy, and achievements in your difficult service!
