Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov had a meeting with the delegation of the Ukrainian World Congress.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of countering the Russian aggression, in particular, in struggling hybrid war waged not only in the battlefield but also in the information sphere.

According to Mr. Turchynov, the help of the diaspora in spreading objective information about Ukraine and nailing down Russian propaganda lies is of utmost importance.

"Cooperation in this area is a crucial priority of building strategic communication and countering Russian information aggression", - Oleksandr Turchynov emphasized.

In their turn, representatives of the diaspora assured that they "are doing everything possible to help Ukraine in the liberation war, in freeing of the occupied territories and in the honorary representation of Ukraine in the world".
