Oleg Hladkovskiy: the signing of the memorandum of cooperation between Reliance Defense Limited corporation (India), “Antonov” State Enterprise and “Ukroboronprom” concern will facilitate expansion to new markets

First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy considers the signing of documents on cooperation between the Indian corporation Reliance Defense Limited, "Antonov" State Enterprise and "Ukroboronprom" concern a significant milestone of the Ukrainian-Indian collaboration. 

Mr. Hladkovskiy called the arrival of the Reliance ADA Group headed by the Chairman of Board of Directors of the corporation Anil Ambani, a "momentous event", emphasizing that the signing of the memorandum of further cooperation will make for the workload of domestic enterprises, the expansion to new markets. According to him, the possibility to create joint enterprises, the realization of joint projects in the aviation field, modernization of the armed vehicles, production and sales of turbines are implied.

On April 27 this year, "Antonov" State Enterprise together with "Ukroboronprom" signed the memorandum of cooperation with Reliance Defense Limited for the purpose of selling on the Indian market of aircraft based on the civil airliners An-148/An-158 and the transport aircraft An-178.

This summer, Reliance Defense Limited and "Antonov" State Enterprise will take part in the state tender for the aircraft supply, announced by the Indian Government. In the case of victory, a joint Ukrainian-Indian enterprise based in India is planned to be established.
